The disposable filtersheets we offer cover a wide range of requirements in the filtration sector of the food & beverage industry. The selection of excellent raw materials evaluated by stringent quality controls coupled with the application of high technology in production, make these filters top of the line. Thanks to their homogeneous materials they have proven performance and reliable microbial reduction. Each individual sheet of paper is laser engraved with the batch number and production date for complete traceability.
SEITZ K-Series
Combine depth surface and adsorptive filtration resulting in high solids retention, very good permeability and excellent filtrate quality. They are commonly used for reduction of microorganisms in sugar solutions, enzyme solutions and wine, lampication and yeast removal in wine, lampication of olive oil, prefiltration and final filtration of wines and juices, removal of low turbidity in wines, etc.
SEITZ T SERIES
They are made of cellulose fibres with a mixture of diatomaceous earth and perlite and depending on their structure and porosity they retain suspensions in low and high viscosity liquids. Their main characteristic is their reduced density in open pores with low filtration resistance, which implies economical filtration, high particle retention capacity and suitability for filtration of viscous liquids. Indicative applications include coarse filtration of honey and olive oil, pre-filtration of oilseed rape, wheat germ and wine, filtration and clarification of sugary solutions and enzyme purification.
SEITZ IR SERIES
The IR series filter papers were developed to meet the filtration needs of distillation and spirits production plants. The low content of calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron and other trace elements contributes to the ability of these filters to retain suspensions and organic substances and not to eliminate ions that may form precipitates in the distillates. They are widely used for sterile filtration in white spirits, clarification of white spirits, tannin filtration and particle removal.
SEITZ AKS4 SERIES
The AKS series of filter papers was created for general applications due to the adsorbent property of carbon. The incorporation of the activated carbon is done in cellulose fibres and there is no carbon release from the filter papers. The adsorption efficiency is much higher than an equivalent amount of activated carbon powder, increasing the product yield as well. Indicatively used for dechlorination of water, colour correction in juices and beers, colour, taste & odour correction of distillates and discolouration of sugar solutions and gelatine.
